Traditional Canarian Fun Times. Street Photography

The Los Dolores romería! While in Lanzarote on a fashion shoot for Sisley (check blog soon for previews), we took in a local tradition of walking through the town of Tinajo, enroute to the church, to see the Saint.  A man was nice enough to give me his half chewed salty squid tentacle as way of thank you for taking his photo. Others offered free wine, chicken legs, and even let the model take the rains of a camel… Muy bien!

Hi Kirstin, I Love the first photo and the little boy sat on the wall. We joined the romería at San Bartolomé in our costumes and walked to Mancha Blanca. We had a great time, pity it wasn’t clear blue skies for our photographs but it didn’t spoil the party! Ciao, Jules
