Tom Cruise didn’t hang around did he… Ange & Will scored big time with the weather! With their reception being held at the new sculpture gardens Tremenheere in Penzance, it was kind of weather dependent. So, after winning a brave game of weather roulette, they married at Gwithian church.

While the wedding party made their way to Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens, we headed to the near by headland at Godrevy for a quick wedding photo session. Please visit the full gallery to see all of the photos. They will also appear in the next issue of Wed magazine, which is out today!

Shirin & Nicholas flew all the way from Singapore to Cornwall to work with me to capture some emotive and romantic portraiture that incorporated the epic landscapes of Cornwall. In light of their native concrete jungle, Shirin & Nicholas selected me as their pre wedding photographer as my style tends to inherently incorporate the beautiful landscapes of Cornwall. They knew the area fairly well and we mapped out a circular route which included many of my favourite locations and an awful lot of trespassing. Which was fun!

I learnt a lot about Singapore on this shoot. Mainly by asking some very dumb questions despite having visited there on my honeymoon. It’s tradition in Singapore to take pre wedding photos before  as the wedding often doesn’t have time for the creative shots. Singapore is a country that is just a city. Joined to a very jealous Malaysia. Unless you are fond of cityscapes your options for photography are limited to the same small patch of grass that every wedding photographer uses… Luckily Cornwall is quite the opposite and I was humbled that they flew over here for what I sometimes take for granted. Stacey and Dean threw a proper Cornish bash. The Kernow King was mentioned more than once, and quite randomly, Cilla Black popped in for a chat… All in all I felt very at home.

A horse drawn carriage transported them from Budock Church to the lovely Princess Pavilions in Falmouth.

This one had me in tears from the word go. Sometimes from laughing too hard but mostly because of the true love that kept slapping me in the face every time I thought my head was back together. The tears I speak of carried on dipping from my eyeballs throughout the editing process, and I nearly lost it again when selecting a few photos for this blog… 

I’d like to write loads of words, possibly fluking a sentence, about how awesome Natasha & Tom are, and how much love and laughter their wedding had… and how Scorrier House was the perfect wedding venue for them. But why would I when I have 939 photos to show you that that tell this story far more articulately. Get a handkerchief, and click the button. x

Well what can I say. Despite the worst weather you could pretty much have for a wedding, this experience will go down in my mind as one of the happiest gatherings I’ve attended.

We did try and head outside for a few photos in what looked like a break in the rain… 2 minutes later we were scrambling for cover (see above photo). It occurred to me that it the weather was a blessing in disguise as it really did add a great cosy intimate family atmosphere. Good times all the way and a pleasure to be a part of.

Rob & Lou’s amazing two day wedding celebration had it all. Sunshine & epic vistas courtesy of Chapel Porth, a beautiful service thanks to the nice man in the white robe at St Agnes Church, and the cosy homely atmosphere was aided by Seiners of Perranporth. Lou’s hard work personalizing the function room at Seiners really paid off.

Drez & Nicki tied the knot at the lovely Mylor Church. We all then jumped on the Enterprise for a boat cruise, docking at Prince of Wales Pier in Falmouth. The wedding party then made it’s way to the Greenbank Hotel.

As you’ll be able to tell from looking at the photos. They all had a ridiculously good time. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more excited bride in my life! The look of glee, all over the place. Check them all out by clicking the button >>>

Laura & Steve’s got married at St Agnes Church and held their reception at Mount Pleasant Ecological Park, Porthtowan.

Cierian & Alexis asked me to travel out of my comfort zone of Cornwall, and tresspass all over Devon. Tavistock Church, Mount Tavy Cottage and Dartmoor were the hosts of this freaking awesome wedding.

Trading split screen VW buses for a Ferrarri; the beach for an fogy moorland. This was just what the doctor ordered. I could spend days shooting on Dartmoor! Thanks for looking x

Anna & Rob scored perfect sunshine for their wedding. Just squeaking it in before the 2 month rain storm. There was a strong breeze a blowing which kind of added a little drama to the vail & actually made the nearby lake look like the ocean, surf included!
